Alan Jenkins posted a couple of days ago that there are now 11 Albacores at West Kirby - which other clubs have a decent fleet of Albacores?
We have 11 at Lyme - some a bit tatty round the edges like their owners
How many at Parkstone, South Cerney, Maidenhead, Broadwater?

Although I will have to check records when we go to the club on Sunday, I'm pretty sure that we at South Cerney have over a dozen boats on the dinghy park.

Hi we have 15 boats at Broadwater, a bit misleading as i own 3 of them, trying to grow the fleet, amazing how long it takes for people to realise just what a good boat they are.

We havent heard anything from Scaling Dam - Judy must have someone to race against- neither have we heard from any of the Scottish fleets

Hi all,

We have 12 sailing in Shetland, with a few (maybe 4 or 5) old albs stuck away in sheds.

That's great news about Shetland - we ought to make more publicity about the farthest North dinghy fleet in the country -possibly the world!- from my school atlas Shetland is North of Helsinki & St Petersburg & about the same latitude as Anchorage in Alaska

We have five or six at Shearwater in Wiltshire, not bad for a puddle club with only about 50 boats.
And most of us were involved in or close to the mayhem in the header picture of the club website :silly: www.shearwatersailingclub.co.uk

There were 14 Albacores in the fleet at Parkstone this year with about 6 as regular competitors. Getting better with 2 new members but need to get some of those 'sleepers' out on the water!

Having checked the records at South Cerney, we actually have 15 Albacores registered. It's about time we started working on getting more of them out on the water.

Currently eight at Nottingham Sailing Club with some old ones which I'm sure the owners would be happy to be buried with! :)

Thorpe Bay Yacht Club had 6 Albacores in the dinghy park last year. All of them saw the water thoughout the season.
