The Tewkesbury Albacore Open Meeting is on Saturday 24th May. 3 races 2 to count.
There is also a Handicap Open 6 hour race on Sunday 25th May - 2 crews per boat.

There is ample camping on site for tents and motorhomes and several B&B's in the town if you want to go posh! Either way you need to stay over and enjoy the Saturday evening social.

Tewkesbury town is a popular tourist destination and only a 15 minute walk from the club site (for those that are not competing and get bored watching!)

To sail at TCSC is priceless!!

Call it £10 (for the Saturday) with bacon butties and tea/coffee on arrival.

The camping is free but I'm afraid I cannot give the beer away.

It seems maybe you had a beer or two before reding the post as it says I CANNOT give the beer away.

I'm afraid I cannot make Broadwater this year - I have been trapped into taking my daughter to see McBusted!! (I'm sure I will secretly enjoy it!).

As for the boat - I'm sure we can find something for you to sail.

Ah historic Tewkesbury, with it's medieval charm, warm Gloucestershire welcome, history of beheading Plantaganet princes just outside the curry house (seriously, they get dressed up in tights and re-enact it with a plastic axe every year - Japanese tourists LOVE it) and CHEAP CHEAP BEER at the TCSC bar.

You don't want to miss this one...we've even got Paul off of the Skittles team doing the disco.

Sailing events just don't get more sophisticated than this. Mark F, Dave W, you're local so if I don't see you Tewkesbury Twerking on the night of the 24th there will be serious discontent from the Commodore.

Love to be there but currently don't have a crew for that weekend.

I'm crewless at the moment so could I ask if a crew, that is small and light to compensate for my heavyness, might be willing to be treated nicely for this epic open. Don't worry if no-one is available. I'll bring my camera as this is an unusual event that will be good to cover.

Hope you can make it Dave and I am sure that Hazel can find you a crew. Maybe we should rename Blaec 'Too Many Pies'? Only joking look forward to seeing you either way.
