This year inlands will be held on the rather large stretch of water known as Carsington Water in the heart of the Derbyshire peak District

The event will be held over 2 days and we will be sharing the water with
· Javelins and Hornets who have a 3 day event.
505 and Albacores have a 2 day event.
Can you please advise me if you intend to travel to the event as the
There is no camping on site but plenty nearby, including next to the pub

The Galley are willing to provide an evening meeting but will need numbers beforehand

I do need to find a crew for the event as my usual crew (my daughter Jo) will be on holiday.

I've been looking at the info on the Carsington web site and it appears that there will be three races back to back. I have asked if this may change for reasons that will be obvious to those who are not in the Flush of youth. Should I receive any further info on this subject I will pass it on to you; I travel in hope.

The galley is serving an evening meal at £10per head, please can you let me know if you want an evening meal so I can let the galley know.

The club will be open on Friday night if you want to drop off your boat

Please be aware, traffic may be busy due to the location being in the Derbyshire Peak district

I asked Carsington to consider having one break and requested that they let me know. To date I have not had a response but I think that they will decide on the day. They may consider it if enough of the competitors request it I understand.
