From memory there are several campsites, but only one that I would describe as walkable - about 1.5 miles (I've walked it pi**ed).
You will get details from the SCYC website.
That is also the best source for links for all accomodation.
Most houses to rent are within easy walking distance of the beach - less than a mile or 20 min walk. The taxi service is also pretty good if you can't face the walk home in the evening!
Car parks do a week pass for (from memory) about £30. Otherwise a long walk back for the things you left in the car/house!

Poating entry form in morning, hoping to sail 8209. But if not ready will have to sail 1924. Two boats coming from Invergordon in the Highlands.

A reminder that the reduced entry fee of £135 ends with a post mark of 1st May after which the entry goes up to £155.

As the entry forms were a little late going out and so long as, by the 1st May, I get a phone call,text or email confirmation that you will be entering I will accept the early entry cheque and completed forms being in my hand or in my home post by close of this weekend's Inlands event at South Cerney. (and yes I will be at the event)

Entries have been pouring in during the last few weeks and now stand at 25 - already half way to our target of at least 50 boats. Keep them coming!

As per the article in the last Alive I also interested in feedback on merchandise ideas for the Internationals.

Anyone looking for a charter boat there is a good one available a little further back in this discussion chain.

Can someone say where the boat park will be, the golf course slip is a long way from the club

If it is anything like dinghy week (and I don't see why not) you drive down Golf Road and onto the beach and take the boat as far up towards the Sailing Club end as you wish. The beach is the boat park!
Plenty of beach space but my preference would be towards that end.
SCYC should issue beach passes to enable us to drive onto the beach at the start and end of the week.

Canadian Crew Available!

If anybody wants to sail in the internationals and is looking for a crew, there is an experienced crew from Toronto who is looking to sail in the internationals. She has crewing and helming experience, including crewing in the internationals in 2011 and both crewing and helming in the Toronto Friday Night Race series. She is looking to crew at Abersoch.
