Sail number 6936 was called Shadow when my father owned her and we sailed her at the Nats/Ints. in Torquay 2001, does anyone know where she is and if not being used would she be for sale? Otherwise I am looking for a similar age/type boat to rejoin the class again.

Shadow was owned by Phil Smith (Northern Rep) until very recently.

Shadow is alive and well and has travelled up to Scotland to sail at Loch Venachar in the Trossachs. I bought her from Phil Smith (Winsford Flash) last Autumn as he had decided to sail his Woof instead. She has retained her Rolls-Royce sticker on the transom, currently with a blue hull, and is still registered as Shadow.

I have to say that Shadow is one of the best looking Albacores I have seen. I stripped the hull and epoxyed it and there was not a patch on the Hull. The sapele decks are 2nd to none for appearence, I was sad to see it go, but i knew Bob would look after it.
