TOPIC:

Mary Rook & her crew were 6th overall in the women's matchracing event at the recent Sail for Gold regatta at Weymouth (second Brits behind Lucy McGregor & her crew). They were pleased to beat no 1 ranked matchracer Katy Spithill (AUS) in the repercharge, but had the misfortune to meet the eventual winners of the competition in the first knock-out round.

Mary has also crewed for USA sailor Sally Barklow and was among the latter's crew when they qualified as the first all-female team for the prestigious Congressional Cup (to be sailed in the Spring)
