Thats excellent Graham!

Hopefully we will see some more of your fleet at the Maidenhead Training and Open in April.

(PS we also have a winter series with class racing for Albs, winter membership is available for those interested in joining us.)

How nice to see my old boat pop up only a few miles from where it spent most of it's life; Maidenhead. I called it Axolotl but I am sure this has changed.
Also good to see another club in the Thames Valley with a fleet of Albs. Any chance of hosting an Open Meeting? I am sure you would get a good turn out. I would certainly turn up as my sister lives round the corner in Springwell Lane and I didn't know about Broadwater! Trevor Smith

Hi Trevor, 7754 is mine, I bought her last week needs a bit of tlc but still quick lent her to someone on Sunday who is keen to get an Alb but never sailed one, came 3rd in Club regatta. Re an open meeting its somthing I have mentioned, we have a comitee meeting tonight I will ask the question. I used to sail 1753 Snoozy at Ruislip back in the eighties with Ron, Bruce robin etc, would be good to catch up with some old faces again, cheers Graham

Graham,

I think you also have Jean's old boat there (Hamish) and a sister boat of my old boat (the yellow Rondar).

If you have an open meeting, Im sure there would be a posse of 3-4 Maidenhead boats attending.

The yellow Rondar was called Duster (as it is the same colour as one).

If you have any weed problems at Broadwater (I dont know how deep the water is), then it would be better to go for earlier in the season before any weed threatens.

How about Mid May - South Cerney is on 1st & 2nd May and West Riding is on 29th&30th May.

I sugest Sat 15th or Sun 16th May.
