Does anyone know where to get a mast head sheave 1" to 1 1/16" diameter, and 5/16" wide sheave (preferably with ball bearings?

Talk to Pinnell & Bax on 01604 592808 and look on their website at www.pinbax.com

I'm sure they'll be able to help you.

If there is any likelihood of you sticking your mast in the mud in a capsize, I'd stick with a plain sheave, there is not that much friction and any grit will wreck the bearings as well as possibly locking up when you try to drop the sail.
