TOPIC:

The thwart on my Speed GRP boat has become detached from the side tanks. There doesn't seem to be much attaching them-just some resin under the thwart onto the tank gelcoat. My local boatbuilder isn't too impressed but reckons fixing isn't too difficult.



Has anyone else suffered this, and is there a good way to avoid recurrence?

I had the same problem & used 2 bolts each side plus some boat glue given to me by a boatbuilder

Fixed now with resin-looks good but disappointing on a 5 year old boat. Fast as anything though...
