Dear fellow Alb' sailors,





Today our family Albacore (1691), hits the water again for the first time in 5 years!



I am looking for advise and or some literature to read on the Alb', beyond the North and McNamara tuning guides?



How to rig that enormous jib stick and how it effects the sail shape when reaching - obviously opening the slot, but how is the position of the clew controlled, via a pole that fly's by wire ?



Also, if anyone has any idea of a build date for an Alb of this age, or has a similar boat number and a known age, that would be interesting to know. I'm guessing that it's late sixties?
