For those planning to come to this event, here is an update. Racing will be in Poole Harbour. Racing on Saturday will be part of normal club
class racing starting at 14.30. We start with 3 other classes but have
our own course which is posted on the race platform so we need to make
sure visitors know where to go!!. There is a single race fee of Ł9.50
which should be paid on the day.
For the Sunday and Monday we shall sail the first 2 days of poole week and visitors should apply by filling in the form albacore.org.uk/Events/2010/PW ENTRY FORM 2010.pdf
for the 2 days at Ł15 per day and submitting it to the PYC office. We
will start in the fast handicap fleet to enable those who stay for the
week to qualify for that series. The courses for Poole Week will be
handed out on the Saturday at registration but we will be on hand to
help those unfamiliar with the harbour (i.e. most of us!). We will
consolidate the places for a prize giving on the Sunday night. The full NOR is at albacore.org.uk/Events/2010/PWNOTICE OF RACE 2010.pdf
Sorry it is a bit complicated but please call me on 01929553424 if you have any questions,

Hi Trevor

Well the courses are always a challenge and that's a fact. I still remember my first Poole week - no problem though I now have a crew who can read charts and is an ace with the sextant! Only joking we are looking forward to this one let's hope for some decent weather
