Having just picked up 8208 and picking up new sails next week, the wording of the rules is a bit unclear to me, or am I just being thick. I have an older set of sails which I would like to use for windy days/club racing, do I have to wait a year before adding these or can they be added to cert once issued, they have already been measured. In the past several top helms have used older sails on a new boat, is this legal ?

A new boat can have 2 sets registered on the certificate in the first 12 months following registration. 2Jibs and 1 main can be added in subsequent years.
