NATIONALS AT PARKSTONE 8-10 August

Not much over four months now to the Nationals. Parkstone will be an excellent venue with good facilities and excellent sailing waters both in the harbour and in the bay. We plan to include both in this event so there should be something for everyone.

The NOR will be posted as soon as details are finalised. In the meantime we are trying to organise some on site space for motor home parking. It would be good to get an idea of how many spaces we will need. Please respond to this thread or contact me personally as soon as possible.

Many thanks

We're planning to attend our first Albacore nationals since it's almost local, so would like camper parking for the Transit.
We've been trying to persuade the rest of the club fleet along, especially as one is also a Parkstone member but with little success so far.

Its in the diary. Looking forward to it.
I'm not sure what to do about accommodation yet.
I'm trying to keep costs down.
Camping is an option so any advice on local campsites?

Ok noted one transit camper! Hope you can get others along as well, the Nationals is a great event for sailing and social and Parkstone is an excellent venue. I will start a thread for boat numbers once we have published the NOR.

Hi Tim

Great to hear you will be making this event. Hopefully see you at Maidenhead and talk more. I will speak to the locals about camp sites when we have the next meeting and get back to you

Good varnishing

There's no camping that isn't a fair drive away as you have to get out of the main urban area for anything. Lytchett Minster, Upton, Sandford and Ferndown areas have the nearest sites I can think of and it will be high season so busy with families.
