The Midland Area Championship is to be held at Ogston Sailing Club on the 5th and 6th July.
The NOR are available here -
www.ogstonsc.co.uk/enterprise%20and%20al...re%20open%202014.pdf

It is a combined event with the Enterprise association.
There is plenty of room for camping and lots of Black Sheep behind the bar.
It would help enormously if you could let me know if will be entering so that we have an idea of how many to cater for. There will be a dinner on Saturday night, bacon butties for breakfast on Sunday as well as lunch.

I just thought I'd put this back towards the top of the list.
Please let me know if you will be coming.

I've had no replies, so I can only assume no-one is interested.
Unless we get some response the Open is unlikely to take place.
If that is the case, then there probably won't be an Albacore event at Ogston next year either.
Please if you intend to come please e-mail me or give me a call.

Howard, sorry you didn't get replies, for us the event clashed with the Birkett which is a huge event which we and other Albs attend every year. We did talk about it at the inlands. Ogston run a good event and we would normally have supported it. Hope you got some takers and sunk a few black sheep.

It was very disappointing, we had no visitors at all. I thought we had agreed a date which the association was happy with, but obviously it was the wrong date. It makes it very difficult for the Albacore sailors at the club to justify an open meeting next year.
