Hi just to let everyone know the Winsford Flash Open is scheduled for Saturday 17th October , 3 races, with the first race starting at 11.00am followed by lunch then 2 races in the afternoon.
£10.00 entry fee.
Could all those attending please let me know so so we can organise lunch.

We would like to give a big thank you to all those that attended the Winsford Albacore Open on Saturday 17th October. 10 boats took to the water in a gentle 7mph wind, luckily it was blowing straight down the lake, gentle boat handling and good skills were necessary with Judy & Paul Armstrong coming out on top followed by Charlie Chandler & Mark Fowler who came in a close 2nd.
After a hearty lunch the wind had picked up slightly giving a little bit more excitement for the crews but giving the same outcome on the results.
Race 3, we got a nice blow of 11 to 12mph again straight down the lake giving us some close sailing with Charlie and Mark coming out on top this time.
A big thanks to Derek & Mark Booth who graced us with their first outing with their new boat.
A great days sailing enjoyed by all but one thing we didn't do was present Paul & Judy with their trophy so we will get this to you at the Rudyard Open, our apologies.
