I think the decision was not to try for the Warming Pan this year, but to support their Open Meeting in the summer & aim to get more support for the Warming Pan for next year

There was greater support for the open in June and the club wanted to have a guaranteed good number of boats to include them so a decisions was made just to stick with the June Open with the Fireflies.
