This weekend Mark Fowler's beautiful shiny wooden-decked new Albacore will be on display on the class stand as well as Rob Line's new Ovi boat on the Allen fittings stand.
We hope to see lots of Albacore sailors.
I'll be there on Sunday when the champagne will flow & caviare will consumed in large quantities (please bring own champagne and caviare)

I shall be there on Saturday and looking forward to seeing the two new Albacores and enjoying the atmoshere created by genuine dinghy sailing enthusiasts.

Excellent show with Mark Fowler's beautiful boat on our class stand and Rob Lyne's new Ovi on the Allen Brothers stand creating lots of interest.
Chris Turner at Ovingtons has a bulging order book with a rumoured 15 yes 15 boats destined for Canada. Other boatbuilders are keen to deck & fit-out new Ovi boats, with Kevin Gosling of Sidmouth the latest yesterday.
I understand the show in general was busier on Saturday but we were kept busy on Sunday with an excellent number of visitors on our stand and every time I looked Allen Brothers seemed to have a lot of people around their boats.
Thanks to everyone who helped and especially to Mark Fowler prepared to risk the varnishwork of his new beauty to the coffee mugs and fingers of a thousand strangers

A big thanks to Mark Fowler for the loan of his boat. To John and Mark for setting up the stand. To John, Mike B and Paul for manning the stand on Saturday. To Jerry, Mark, Nev and me for looking after the stand on Sunday and packing up the stand and boat and taking it away again.

It was a very succesful weekend.

I can recomend Kevin Gosling for any wooden decking of our new boats.

Having started my apprentership under him all those years ago I feel I have a qualified opinion of his standard of workmanship which tends to be always one step above others.

Kevin also offers repair and refurbishments to all wooden boats.
