We are pleased to announce that the Langstone Harbour Race Weekend will be held over the first May bank Holiday weekend, between Friday 29th April and Monday 2nd May. The three host clubs, Locks SC, Langstone SC and Tudor SC would like to invite visiting sailors to compete along side our members in this event.
This year, we have decided to revise the format of the event, with 5 races held over the three days (three races to count). There will be two races a piece on the Saturday and Sunday using simple triangle/sausage courses (as requested by some of our previous visitors), with a more involved course on the Monday using the whole harbour. As in previous years, each host sailing club will provide an evenings entertainment, along with an evening meal. The weekend entry price includes evening meals at our social events.
We are now accepting entries for the event online via the event web site. A notice of race is also available to download on the website.
